Commuters escape 'frightening' blaze at Nottingham rail station as 60 firefighters tackle 'significant incident' with trains cancelled and roads closed amid widespread travel chaos.
Commuters are facing widespread disruption after a 'severe' fire broke out at Nottingham railway station.

Fire and smoke have been spotted in the foyer, with the blaze believed to have started in the main concourse of the station. The building has been completely evacuated and trains have been stopped from entering or leaving the platforms.

Emergency services have been tackling the blaze since around 6.30am. Around 60 firefighters and 10 fire crews are at the scene.

East Midlands Ambulance service confirmed there had been no reported injuries or causalities.
